For some people it is. For some it is not.
This is a subjective question and is typical of the antiquated learning system we call the public schools.
Every person on the planet has a story. All 6 billion of us. tell your story if you want. it's just as good as the rest.
If this is a some kind of environmental thing, then you can get an easy A by saying we are destyroying the environment and global warming will kill us all, Al Gore style. teachers love that stuff.

the technology is advancing and that would be a good thing if only the people were adavncing with it, so technically technology is a good change but since people are so uncivilized and do dumb things like wars and other stupid things they are changing the value of these tools that we could be using to grow and find new things as a method to destroy one another
Yes.... the world will be changing for the better when a new President is elected and Bush is booted out of office. Things can't get any worse, only better. Vote Blue 2008!!!

Advances in technology can cure poverty and many other social issues.
Yet this causes pollution; wich leads to global warming. We will enver be a perfect society; because for every action; theres a reaction.
