I never knew that the mayan calendar can be THIS influential as to provoke an assumption this way....

Maybe in 2012 but not 2007.|||The Dec 21st 2012 date gets it%26#039;s significance from the fact that it is the date when the ancient Mayan calender ends. I%26#039;ve never heard of anything linking it to 2007. I believe it will wind up being another Y2K type situation. Some people will drive themselves into frenzies with worry over something that will wind up being a non-problem.|||Perhaps the Mayans are extinct for a reason. They didn%26#039;t make it to 2007, much less 2012.
